Amarpreet Vaid (She/Her) MA, RP (Qualifying)

Embarking on a journey towards personal growth and well-being takes courage, and I am here to
support you in that exploration. My name is Amarpreet Vaid, and as a Registered Psychotherapist
(Qualifying), I am dedicated to helping individuals cultivate a healthy perspective to navigate life's highs and lows.

Life often mirrors a roller-coaster ride, and I understand the importance of finding respite to attain and
sustain clarity amidst its challenges. I am eager to explore insights to help you feel more grounded and
resilient within our collaborative and non-judgmental space.

My specialization lies in providing support to clients grappling with a range of mental health challenges,
including symptoms of depression, anxiety, occupational stress, burnout, life/role transitions, imposter
syndrome, and relationship discord. As an identity-affirming and culturally sensitive clinician, I employ a
strengths-based approach, empowering community members to navigate their unique lived
experiences.

I integrate various therapeutic approaches in our sessions, including solution-focused principles,
cognitive behaviour therapy, mindfulness techniques, motivational interviewing, and person-centred
therapy. These methods are designed to equip you with the skills and coping strategies necessary to
navigate adversity effectively while striving for mental wellness.

Building a strong therapeutic alliance is crucial, and I invite you to reach out for a free consultation by email at preetfittherapy@gmail.com. This initial step will help us determine if we are a good fit to embark on this transformative journey together.

“Changing the memories that form the way we see ourselves also changes the way we view others. Therefore, our relationships, job performance, what we are willing to do or are able to resist, all move in a positive direction.”
